Open position as Operator

Our future clients - the energy companies, are conservative and focused on reliability and availability in their energy producing plants. Kitemill shall give them what they need.

Kitemill employs a team of skilled and experienced experts. We are testing our KM0 and KM1 prototypes in Lista, Norway, where we also will develop our next KM2 models.

Kitemill has an ambition to reach a more operational phase with its demonstrator during 2022.

To meet its challenges and development targets, Kitemill is now recruiting an operational team. These persons will communicate directly to the Operational Manager.


The operator will be responsible for the equipment, the flight preparation, the result collection, and the operation of kite turbines. The person will record flight logs and write daily reports. Operation will involve troubleshooting of ground-based and airborne components. Further the existing documentation such as pre-flight and post-flight checklists will be updated regularly, and procedures will be established. In the first year, one will be involved in practical work related to our prototype such as the assembly of the kites, production of composite subcomponents and bench testing.


Your background will ideally encompass experience from electronics, composites manufacturing and operation of drones.


English communication skills are mandatory. The persons need to be independent, proactive and have a problem-solving attitude. A passion for renewable energy is a must!
