Role: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Location: Lista, Norway

 

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic technological direction, vision, and leadership in the planning and implementation of enterprise IT system.

Spearhead the planning and execution of technological development and innovation while ensuring alignment with the company's business goals.

Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.

Ensure regulatory compliance within the aerospace industry, including managing relationships with regulatory bodies and ensuring adherence to aviation safety standards.

Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and ensure the company's technology resources meet its short and long-term needs.

Collaborate with the management team to assess and recommend technologies that support company organizational needs.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in engineering, IT,or related field, with a Ph.D. or additional relevant qualification being a plus.

Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior technological role, preferably within the aerospace industry.

Proven experience in managing aerospace regulatory compliance and strong understanding of aerospace safety standards.

Exceptional team leadership and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage external partnerships and to articulate ideas to colleagues and stakeholders.

Deep understanding of technological trends and ability to leverage that knowledge to offer new and innovative solutions.
